A Good Samaritan had informed Dr. Deborah Wilson of Circle L. Ranch Animal Rescue & Sanctuary of a local man who was threatening to drown his Pit Bull puppies. The man wanted to kill nine four weeks old puppies because he didn’t want them anymore.
Hearing this, Wilson, along with another rescue organization, saved the puppies. While the other rescue took four of the puppies, Deborah had five puppies to take care of.
She then gave the puppies to a mother dog who used to stay at the Pinal County Shelter. Since the mother had two 6-day-old pups of her own, Deborah hoped that she wouldn’t mind taking care of additional little ones.
Deborah was right. The mother dog adopted them as if she were her own.
Watching this, Deborah posted on her Facebook, “When I got back we introduced the runt to her, she sniffed him and licked him, we placed him down on her nipples and he started eating right away. She was ok with it and seemed pleased. So one by one we brought in the others, she accepted all of them.”
With a new mother by their side, the puppies were the happiest Deborah had ever seen.
Looks like they finally found their happy ending!
