And his family doesn’t mind at all. However, sometimes, committing to such a demand of Ricky may be difficult, however, Ricky doesn’t accept it at all.

However, his need doesn’t come out of thin air. He has arthritis and being stroked and patted helps him feel better, which is why Ricky’s demands have been increasing lately. But his humans came up with the best idea to keep him close.

His mom, Debbie Morse made a sling, which is more useful for a sprained arm. But this time, she used it to carry Ricky around.

“He follows my mum around the house miaowing till she strokes him so she thought this would help,” Felicity Morse, her daughter, wrote this week.

As for Ricky, he has never loved anything more than this! His human can scratch his belly at any moment now!

“[My mom] invented this sling so he feels comforted and less lonely,” Felicity Morse said. “The warmth and cuddles really help his arthritis.”

Ricky has lived with this family ever since he was a tiny kitten, and has lived a pretty much-pampered life.

His humans completely understand how much he needs company, with the age he has.

“He’s so gentle and chilled,” Debbie Morse told The Dodo. “He’s worth his weight in gold.”
