Crossing the street is a very dangerous thing for kids to learn. However, this little pooch from Kathmandu, Nepal has apparently taken the lesson very seriously as well.
An American journalist named Natalie Compton had travelled to Nepal to hike up to Everest Base Camp when she came across this talented good dog.’
“I had a few days in Kathmandu before the hiking started,” Compton told The Dodo. “I had found a local gym to keep up my training for the trek and was sitting outside of the gym building resting after my workout. The streets of Kathmandu are mesmerizing to watch.”
Campton had already started recording the pooch when he was standing at the side of the road with his dad.
“I’d seen a million cute dogs since I’d gotten to town, some wearing sweaters, most very friendly and curious,” Compton said. “I started taking a video of the dog just because that’s just something I do as a good dog-loving millennial.”
Then something completely unexpected happened.

“Suddenly his owner summoned his paw,” Compton said.
This pooch, however, is not the only loved dog in Nepal. Every year, Nepal celebrates a festival called Kukur Tihar which is dedicated to thanking these canines for their loyalty. Dogs are given floral garlands to wear and fed yummy food.
Campton has travelled a lot, yet, this was the most amazing things she ever saw happening. She posted the video on Twitter with the caption, “The most surprising 15 seconds of my life by far.”
“Love that you started recording when it was just a regular dog,” one commenter said. “Like, just seeing a dog was already enough.”
