When this Chinese man started hearing barking from the front of his car, he was already 200 miles into his road trip. But the shock came when he got out of the car to investigate.
Stuck in the front bumper of his car was a puppy.
The good news was that the pup was still alive. The driver informed that he knew he hit a dog on his way–and here’s his explanation for not stopping.
“I was driving pretty quickly at the time so when I hit the dog, I thought it had either died or run away, so I didn’t get out of the car to check.” He said.
248 miles away from where the dog first encountered the car, he was finally rescued by a vet.
After the vet cleared him, the driver took him home. The bond between the two had strengthened so the driver decided to adopt the doggie. It was only fair, after all.
“It escaped from great danger. This really moved me. This shows my fate with the dog.” He said.
Let’s learn from this man and always go out to check when think you’ve run over an animal. Remember, not running can actually save a creature’s life.
