Although dogs can’t directly communicate with us, they can strangely sense if something is wrong. Just like this feral German Shepherd who, because of his intelligence, saved a life! It was surprising how he knew but he appeared at exactly the right time to save the life of a woman who had gotten into a truck crash in a rural road, where barely anyone walked.
Shannon Lorio from Georgia was driving way too fast down her hometowns empty rural road after a fight when the most unfortunate thing happened to her. Suddenly, without her even realizing it, she had lost control of her vehicle and was flown out of her truck’s window. The little to none vehicles that passed her never noticed her. But a few minutes later, someone was breathing very close to her face.
Out of nowhere, a feral dog had appeared and jumped in the back of her car. He licked her face that was covered in blood and dragged her almost non- living body by the collar over the 100 feet away to the street. That’s when Lorio could finally gather the strength to get up and ask for help. Later, in the hospital, she found that she had a brain haemorrhage. Thankfully, she didn’t need a surgery, and it was all because of the hero German shepherd that appeared and helped her right on time. Lorio realizes this and completely credits him for living today.
Luckily, the dog is also now adopted by a canine search and rescue trainer. He is in a much better place now and now he never has to wander around the forest anymore.
