A lot of people were recently highly disappointed by the U.S. Department of State. And if you found out the reason, you would be disappointed too.
A curious email was sent by the U.S. Department of State last week, labeled as “Meeting.” Even though the label looked usual, the content inside it was certainly not what they would typically send. The correspondence had a picture of an adorable cat wearing a Cookie Monster onsie holding a plate of cookies and invited tits recipients for a “cat pajama-jam.”
The email was apparently sent by the U.S. Embassy in Canberra, Australia. They later issued an apology explaining that it was a “training error made by one of our new staff testing out our email newsletter platform.”
“Sorry to disappoint those of you who were hoping to attend this ‘cat pajama-jam’ party, but such an event falls well outside our area of expertise,” Gavin Sundwall, U.S. Mission to Australia public affairs counselor, said in statement.
Nevertheless, people were disappointed.
Dont apologize. create and host the cat pajama jam as if this was fully intended. Never admit mistakes.

It is interesting to know that out of so many people whose hearts shattered with the cancelation, the kitty was hurt the most.
The cat’s owner in the picture, Joey shared the following image on his twitter page, my_furry_babies, with the cat’s own thoughts about the jam.
